Alexandra and Jim's Country Wedding

Alexandra married her partner Jim at their property in Sutton Forrest.

As both had been previously married neither wanted an ‘over the top’ celebration, however, as the weeks went on, the tradition and excitement grew.

And so did the wonderful event which was relaxed, fun, enjoyable and memorable with both families coming together in the spirit of the celebration.

Alex’s sister Lulu travelled from London to be matron of honour and friends brought divine flowers and the bouquet for the bride.

Guests sat on bales of hay, dogs roamed around during the service, birds tweeted and the happy pair enjoyed every second.

The private wedding ceremony for 40 overseas and interstate guests was followed by a New Year’s drinks party and celebration for another 40 friends who were not aware the happy couple had just tied the knot!  Such was the happiness in the air (and after much pink champagne) that those who missed out on the formal ceremony asked if we would hold another mini service of their wedding vows.

I was a very happy celebrant to see a service become a loving celebration that was fun and memorable for all.

What fun it was and you really were fabulous, you totally got what we wanted and it absolutely worked!
